DOG FOULING AND USE OF POOP BAGS

The Community Council would like to remind dog owners that "poop" bags are available free of charge from the village shop.
Please be considerate to other members of the community and clean up after your dogs misdeeds.

The use of "poop" bags has been successful in helping to keep the village clean but some people are still being inconsiderate in having very kindly bagged their dogs poop they have then just hung the bag in a nearby bush or tree. Being a generous soul I would like to think that they were put there with the intention of collecting them on the return journey of their walk rather than a deliberate act. Please dispose of "poop" bags in a hygienic and environmentaly friendly way.

PUBLIC MEETING

Invitation to an Open Meeting for all Barrhill Residents
Thursday, 16th November 2017
Barrhill Primary School Hall
7:00 – 8.30pm

20mph Speed Limits in Villages in South Ayrshire

The meeting will be addressed by Kevin Braidwood, Operations Manager of Ayrshire Roads Alliance.  This will be an outline consultation to confirm if the residents of Barrhill would like a 20mph limit introduced in the area and to gather any ideas they have about how the lowered speed limit might be implemented given the specific local road structure and pattern of usage.

Ayrshire Roads Alliance and South Ayrshire Council would very much like to hear your views about whether you would welcome the proposal to reduce the speed limit in the village and any points you would like to highlight about how this could be effectively implemented given the local road layout.

Please come along to this Open Meeting on Thursday 16th November at 7pm when this matter  will be discussed, and let us know your views.
